New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 35-year-old gym owner, Nadir Shah, was shot dead by two bikers late on Thursday in the Greater Kailash 1 area of south Delhi. Shah, who owned the Sharx gym, was standing near his luxury car outside the gym when two assailants on a bike fired multiple rounds at him.

The shooting occurred around 10:57 pm, according to a senior police officer. Shah, who sustained five gunshot wounds, was rushed to Max Hospital by his friends, but he was declared dead upon arrival. The police confirmed that a woman was present with Shah at the time of the attack, but further details on her involvement remain unclear.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankit Chauhan stated, “Shah, a resident of the CR Park area, suffered bullet injuries and was taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.”

The assailants managed to escape the scene after the shooting. Police teams from Greater Kailash police station, along with special staff and the Special Cell, are currently investigating the case. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning locals to trace the attackers.

It was also revealed that Nadir Shah had a criminal history, which may play a role in the ongoing investigation.
