New Delhi, May 31: After quitting Congress, Hardik Patel is set to join the BJP on 2 June, ahead of the Gujarat assembly elections scheduled for later this year.
Earlier, Patel dismissed rumours that he will join the BJP on Monday, instead taking to Twitter to criticise the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the assassination of famed Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala.
The 28-year-old who had joined the Congress in 2019 recently quit, writing a scathing letter to party chief Sonia Gandhi.
