Hazaribag, June 27: The governing body of Annada Mahavidyalaya, one of the oldest colleges, took several important decisions in a meeting of the Management Committee giving compulsory retirement to a senior teacher.

The clearance was also given for the installation of a 10 KW hybrid solar plant. A college official said the administrative building of the college would be fully powered by solar energy after its installation. He added that this will be an important contribution from the college in the field of green energy.

In this meeting, disciplinary action was taken against Dr Kishore Kumar Akhauri, teacher of the sociology department. Officials said he has been given compulsory retirement from 01/07/2023 by the college governing body for defaming the college management and administration on the basis of wrong facts and tarnishing the image of the college by abstaining from teaching work. They said this action has been taken by the college management committee using the powers provided in the Jharkhand University Act for the last two years.
