Hazaribag, Feb 20: An IAS officer of the 2002 batch, Manish Ranjan who is presently the secretary of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department (DWSD) has penned down another book for students preparing for prestigious UPSC and also state administrative services.
Notably, The book ‘Bhartiya Kala and Sanskriti’ has three sections including Indian art, Indian culture and Indian heritage.
Ranjan, who served as deputy commissioner in different districts of the state, has written many books so far for competitive examinations. About his books, he said they would be helpful for students preparing for civil services and other administrative services.
The director of Gurukul coaching institute, JP Jain said like other books of Ranjan which are bestsellers, it will also help students in achieving their goals. He said it’s a big thing that an IAS officer who had topped the UPSC exam is still studying and researching to write competitive books for students.
A good orator, Ranjan got Excellence in MGNREGA award for two consecutive years from Prime Minister, Nirmal Gram Puraskar by the President of India, and the STAR RAFT award by AFID (Asian Federation of Intellectual Disabilities), Japan.
