Hazaribag, June 11: With Sadar MLA’s media in-charge Ranjan Choudhary tweeting to DC Nancy Sahay about the dead body deep freezer not working in the mortuary, the machine was finally repaired. The mortuary is situated on one corner of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital.

Sources said as the deep freezer was not working, bodies kept here decomposed. Due to the rising temperature, the bodies were stinking too. On his visit here Ranjan found the deep freezer not working. He immediately raised the issue with concerned authorities and later tweeted the matter to the DC. Choudhary said the deep freezer needed immediate repair to keep bodies safe.

Sahay tweeted last night informing that the deep freezer was repaired and it has started working. Choudhary expressed his happiness and said proper maintenance of the machine is needed from time to time to avoid such problems again. Even the team of technicians repairing the machine found it tough to do this work amid the strong stink from the dead bodies. All were seen covering their nose, added Choudhary.
