Hazaribag, June 10: Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal always takes positive initiative from time to time to help people of his constituency. Jaiswal who distributed foodgrains and medicines among the needy during the Covid lockdown, now started a unique campaign to help those who face tough times after the death of their near and dear ones during 13 days of shradh.
In this series, on Saturday, MLA Manish Jaiswal started the distribution of the Namo shradh ration kit under the ration kit for Shradh karma bhoj in the service of the needy families of the area. The ration kit campaign was started in the MLA’s service office with kits provided to the relatives of the bereaved family of the late Birju Ram, a resident of Chandwar in Sadar block.
BJP’s Jharkhand in-charge cum Rajya Sabha chief whip Dr Lakshmi Kant Bajpai, Mandu MLA Jaiprakash Bhai Patel and Ramgarh district organisation in-charge Shashi Bhushan Bhagat jointly handed over the kit.
Under this scheme, it has been decided to provide this kit to such needy families of the society who expect cooperation for Shradh Karma Bhoj. This ration kit has a raw ration to feed about 150 people. Which contains rice, flour, lentils, oil and spices. By reaching out to the needy family through this ration kit, MLA Manish Jaiswal will pay emotional tribute to the departed pious soul of the family. A special packet has also been made for this kit, in which a humble tribute has also been inscribed.
MLA Manish Jaiswal said that many poor and needy families in the area continuously reach out to seek help for cooperation in Shradh rituals. Fulfilling the expectation of such needy families, with the aim of providing cooperation to them, distribution of namo shradh ration kits has been started, he added. Bajpai lauded this effort of MLA.
