Hazaribag MP inaugurates football ground in KB women’s college

Hazaribag, Nov12: Hazaribag BJP MP Jayant Sinha inaugurated a football ground in the KB women’s college constructed from Rs 1.57 crore on the campus wherein he promised to help the players and said that sports not only shape our personality but make one lead life in a disciplinary manner.

This football ground is constructed with funds provided by Power Grid Corporation of India on the recommendation of Sinha. On this occasion, power grid manager Kundala Rao was also present.

Sinha and other dignitaries lit up the lamp after the inauguration of the ground. Addressing teachers and college students, the MP said sports not only shape the personality but bring out hidden talent too. He promised to extend all help to the players telling them that he has launched the Amrit Trophy football tournament for boys in his constituency including Hazaribag and Ramgarh.

“This tournament is at present going on and I promise you to launch a similar tournament for girls next year,” he added amid huge clapping.

Later, he attended a session with students on climate change. He interacted with students and told them in detail about climate change.

On this occasion, College principal Kiran Dwivedi besides teachers Sharda Sharma, Surendra Sinha, Pramila Gupta, Krishna Pradhan and others were present.
