Hazaribag, Oct 23: Superintendent of police Manoj Ratan Chauthe inaugurated the new traffic police station in the old collectorate claiming that this was the need of time. On this occasion, traffic in-charge inspector Rohit Kumar Singh was also present with his team.
Earlier, the traffic police station was at District Mor chowk, this old building was renovated by Hzb Arogyam super speciality hospital few months ago. However, this building lacked space for traffic police for smooth functioning.
Chauthe said this new facility will help traffic police to work in a better way.
He said 94 policemen are needed at the traffic police station but only 30 are working at present. About old traffic thana, he said that it will work like traffic post at district mor now. Chauthe said that the new traffic police station has enough space to keep bigger vehicles.
