Hazaribag, June.1: Mohammad Yusuf who helps his father Mohammad Shoaib Alam in selling bangles decided to go to Bangalore to work in a company there two years ago. But as he returned a few months ago as a patient with kidney disease, the family came in trouble.
Now Yusuf’s brother, 25-year-old Mohammad Raja has taken up a 1743 km journey to Mumbai to save his brother. Raja wants to meet famous actors Salman Khan and Sonu Sood known for their philanthropic works.
A resident of Habibi Nagar in town, Shoaib said his family was happy when Yusuf started working in a logistics company in Bangalore. He started supporting the family financially and also, he had lots of planning for the family and for his life as well. But all his dreams were shattered when he came to know that he was a kidney patient. “We need around Rs 35 to Rs 40 lakh to save him. I only want the safety of Yusuf from God. My younger son Raja has taken the challenge to save his brother,” said Yusuf’s father.
Raja said he will drive 100 to 150km daily in a day taking rest on the highway side every night to reach Mumbai. “I think it will take less than 15 days to reach there. I want to save the life of my brother and so I am taking this journey. I hope to get help from Salman Khan, Sonu Sood and other popular celebrities,” he said. “Bhai ko bachane ke liye mera yah prayas hai,” he added.
