Hazaribag: 4 killed as uncontrolled Scorpio falls into ditch in Charhi Valley

Hazaribag, Sept 8: An uncontrolled Scorpio fell today into a ditch in Charhi Valley, killing four persons. Three persons were also injured in the mishap.

According to the information, suddenly the driver lost control over the Scorpio and the vehicle fell into a ditch on the other side crossing the divider near the UP turn of NH 33 Charhi Ghati at around 6.30 am.

A total of seven people were aboard the Scorpio.

Four people aboard had died on the spot. After this incident there was a jam on NH 33. It is being told that all the people were going from Bihar to worship at the Maa Chinnamastika temple located at Rajarappa in Ramgarh.

On getting the information, the Charhi police reached the spot and got involved in the rescue work. The Scorpio was pulled out of the valley with the help of a crane.

The injured trapped inside the vehicle were pulled out by cutting the part of the vehicle with the help of a gas cutter. Police sent the three injured to Sadar Hospital, Hazaribagh. At the same time, traffic on NH 33 has also been restored smoothly.
