Barkagaon, June 17: Adani Foundation on Friday organised a health camp in Utkramit Prathmik Vidhyalaya situated in Balodar at Barkagaon, Hazaribagh. The camp was organised with the support and coordination of the Barkagaon Community health center.

A team of doctors and paramedical staff rendered their medical consultations to patients. After monitoring vitals such as BP and Pulse rate of each patient in the camp, the medical team provided consultation and medication.

The camp witnessed the participation of more than 100 villagers including elderly persons, women, children, and infants. A team of highly qualified pediatrics from community health center examined and vaccinated infants.

Apart from this, free ECG, GRVS (Blood Sugar), BP, weight check, cardiac, and general check-ups were done by the team. A session on general health awareness was conducted wherein villagers were made aware of the importance of personal hygiene, coronavirus, and other general good habits.

The doctor advised villagers to take care of themselves by continuing to follow Covid appropriate behavior and not go out during rains. Doctors also appealed to show up at the hospital in case of any flu-like symptoms as covid-19 is not over yet and precaution is the only way to stay safe.
