Ramgarh, July 14: An Oxygen plant has been set up in the Barhi sub-divisional hospital, Hazaribagh. The plant, that has been constructed a cost of Rs 90 lakh, will be dedicated to the residents of the area on July 15.
Hzaribagh MP Jayant Sinha has taken every step to end the shortage of oxygen in the area during the Corona pandemic. He was trying to set up an oxygen plant in the Barhi sub-divisional hospital for a long time.
This plant has been brought from abroad to India and then to Hazaribagh. It can provide sufficient amount of oxygen to 100 patients simultaneously.
At present, oxygen will be provided at 60 beds in this hospital. This plant will directly benefit 2.25 lakh people of Barhi.
MP Jayant Sinha has set up oxygen plants in Hazaribagh and Ramgarh and has installed more than 500 oxygen beds, 80 ventilator beds and 250 other beds in the area.
Along with this, 10 ventilators and about 250 oxygen concentrators have been provided to the hospitals. Through them, more than 6 lakh masks and 25,000 sanitation kits have been distributed in the area.
Jayant Sinha said, “Health services are being strengthened continuously in Hazaribagh and Ramgarh. It is my endeavor that no patient in the area should face shortage of oxygen and better treatment is available to them.”
