Ramgarh, Nov 22: Hazaribagh MP and deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Jayant Sinha called on Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in New Delhi on Monday.  During this, he had a detailed discussion with him on various issues related to the Ranchi-Koderma railway section.

Sinha told the Railway Minister that according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian Railways is not only a means of connecting long distances but also an important means of connecting the country’s culture, tourism and pilgrimage.  “You are trying to make his idea a reality.  The people of my parliamentary constituency, Hazaribagh, where earlier they were dependent on road travel, are now making extensive use of rail services as well,” he added.

“The construction work of Jharkhand-based Ranchi (RNC)-Barkakana (BRKA) rail route is in the final stage.  The trial run of the engine on its Sanki section has also been completed.  All the residents of the area are grateful to you for the speed with which this work is being completed under your guidance.  Lakhs of people will be benefited through this,” Sinha said.

He said that it is the wish and prayer of the residents of Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency that under the leadership of Prime Minister, the minister inaugurates this railway section by visiting Jharkhand himself.

Along with this, Sinha drew the attention of the Railway Minister towards some important issues related to railways in his parliamentary constituency.
