Ramgarh, Dec.29: Keredari Police have arrested three criminals with a country-made pistol from Tarhesa forest of Manatu block under Hazaribagh district. 8mm cartridges were also recovered from them.
The arrested accused have been identified as Rajesh Ganjhu, son of Devki Ganjhu, resident of Manatu police station Keredari, Rajesh Mahato, son of Panchal Mahato and Rajkumar Bhuiyan, son of Tunnu alias Dhaneshwar Bhuiyan, both residents of Urda police station, Tandwa district, Chatra.
According to police officials, Rajesh Mahto, the father of Panchal also has a criminal record as a case is registered against him in the Keredari police station.
Police station in-charge Amit Dwivedi said that all the three have been arrested on the basis of a tip-off. They were set to execute some criminal activities in the Hazaribagh district. Meanwhile, the police team arrested them.
The arrested crooks were sent to the Hazaribagh jail. Police said that they have provided other information related to their plans. An investigation is being carried out by the police on the basis of the received information. The authorities are also scanning their criminal record.
