Hazaribagh teacher dies in road accident in Ramgarh

Ramgarh, Dec 28: A teacher belonging to Hazaribagh died in a road accident that occurred late on Monday night at the Kothar Bypass four-lane road under Ramgarh police station area.

 

The pillion rider, who was the teacher’s cousin, was injured in the incident. He was admitted to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for treatment with the help of local people.

 

The deceased has been identified as Sanjit Kumar Mehta alias Sonu Bharti, son of Shambhu Mehta. He was working as a teacher in the Hazaribagh district.

 

He was returning from Ranchi to Hazaribagh after appearing at an exam along with his cousin Suman Saurabh by Honda Shine bike. An unknown vehicle rammed his bike at the Kothar four-lane road.

 

Ramgarh police reached the spot and sent the teacher’s body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Later, they informed the family member of the deceased.

 

Reportedly, the teacher was wearing a helmet but he died on the spot due to his head being completely crushed in the collision. Suman Saurabh is undergoing treatment and is out of danger.
