Hazaribagh’s Amit secures place in Jharkhand U-19 Cricket team

Ramgarh, Sept 19: Amit Kumar Yadav (18) of Hazaribagh District Cricket Association (HDCA) has been selected for the Jharkhand Under-19 State Cricket Team.

Amit is a fast bowler and has been representing the U-19 and senior team of Hazaribagh for the last few years. Last year, he represented the district as the captain of the U-19 team and a senior team player in which he took 28 wickets in 7 matches.

Based on his excellent performance, Amit was selected for the Under-19 State Camp. A total of 150 players were selected from the entire Jharkhand state. After a few days of camp and chain matches, the final 15-player team was formed and Amit was also selected.

Hazaribagh District Cricket Association President Manish Jaiswal and Secretary Sanjay Singh while sharing the news also wished for the bright future of Amit Kumar Yadav.

Amit is currently studying in class 11 at Indian Anthem School in Barhi. His father Ramdhari Yadav a JCB operator and his mother Sita Devi is a housewife. They are the residents of village Srinagar located in Barsaut of Hazaribagh district.
