New Delhi, Jan 28: Suman Toor, the sister of Punjab Congress chairman Navjot Sidhu, claimed that Sidhu is a nasty person who drove her and their mother out of the house after their father died in 1986, sparking a new scandal ahead of the Punjab Assembly Election 2022. Their mother died impoverished in the Delhi railway station in 1989.

Suman Toor, who is now in Chandigarh, is said to have made the claims against Sidhu at a news conference. She claimed to have paperwork to back up her claims that Sidhu was lying about their parents.

According to Sidhu’s older sister, Sidhu previously stated that his parents divorced when he was two years old, but this is a falsehood. “Does he look two years old here?” she asked, pointing to a photo of the family. Tur claimed that their mother had questioned him why he was lying about his parents’ relationship, to which he replied that he had denied saying those things.

Sidhu’s sister said that shortly after their father died, Sidhu drove her and their mother out of their home in order to take possession of the property. He has severed all contact with her since then and refuses to acknowledge her. Suman claimed that she went to Sidhu’s house on January 20 with prior knowledge but that Sidhu refused to meet with her.
