Ranchi: Dr. Irfan Ansari, the newly appointed Minister of Health and Medical Supply in Jharkhand, assumed office at Nepal House on Monday. On this occasion, a delegation led by Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Khurshid Hasan Roomi met the minister to extend congratulations and best wishes.
The delegation emphasized the urgent need for improvements in medical services, particularly at RIMS and Sadar Hospital. They urged the minister to review and enhance the functioning of these institutions. Responding positively, Dr. Ansari assured the delegation of his commitment to addressing these concerns.
The delegation included notable members such as Dr. Mufti Salman Qasmi, social worker Haji Mashooq, President of Hawwari Masjid Haji Mohammad Imtiaz, Haji Shakeel, and Haji Sadrul Ansari.
Dr. Ansari’s Vision for Health Services
Dr. Ansari, who was recently sworn into the Hemant Soren cabinet, reiterated his commitment to prioritizing health services in the state. “My focus is on delivering maximum results in a short span. I will ensure accessibility and quality in the state’s healthcare system,” he said during his address.
The minister acknowledged the pressing need for reforms and modernization in Jharkhand’s largest government hospital, RIMS, and other health facilities, ensuring that better services are made available to the public.
