Ranchi, Nov 15: A huge upsurge of cricket fans can be seen outside the JSCA stadium Ranchi to get the tickets for the upcoming T20 match between India and New Zealand because of availability of fewer seats.

After a gap of 4 years, the T20 international match will be played at this stadium on 19th Nov 2021. Ticket prices for the match start from Rs. 900 and the costliest ticket price is Rs. 9000. Other ticket rates are Rs.1200, Rs.1400, Rs.1700, Rs.1800, Rs. 4000, Rs.5000 and Rs.5500.]

JSCA Vice President Ajay Shahdev said that right now only 50% of the seats are available for sale and hopefully 100% of seats will be available after the government approval which is still pending.

“Food courts inside the campus will also be allowed to function after the approval of the government which is pending the from the government’s side,” Shahdev said.

“Persons with the double dose of covid vaccine will be allowed inside the premises and if not, RT-PCR test will be required to enter the stadium premises,” he further added.

The entry of spectators for this match, starting at 7 pm, will be made from 4 pm. Due to the restrictions imposed on food and drink in the stadium, spectators may have to go hungry for a long time. In view of this, the JSCA officials have met Chief Minister Soren and urged him to withdraw the ban on food court.

Since its debut in 2013, JSCA stadium has so far conducted 2 Test matches, 5 ODIs and 2 T20Is besides a few IPL matches.
