New Delhi, July 6: Heavy rains and a cloudburst in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, have cut off connection with several tourist destinations in the valley.
Due to the persistent rain that has fallen since last night, flash floods and landslides are also being reported from various parts of the state.
In the Kullu district, Manikaran and Malana hamlet are blocked off from the rest of the state. Rescue operations are under progress. There have been reports of flash floods in the districts of Kinnaur and Kullu.
In the Kullu village of Chojh, alongside the animals, at least four people have also perished. The flash flood-damaged building where some 25 to 30 Malana 2 power project workers were trapped has been cleared out.

In the meantime, the Manikaran Valley is currently experiencing exceptionally high water output from all of its water sources.
Larji, Pandoh, and Bilaspur’s officials are on high alert. A landslide at the Dhalli tunnel in the state capital Shimla claimed the life of a woman and injured two others. The Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital has received the injured patient for medical attention.
