Ranchi, April 20: Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth was today made aware of the Halal economy.
‘Halal’ is an Urdu word. It means lawful. There is a demand by Muslims that every substance or thing should be ‘Halal’. They have started issuing ‘Halal Certificate’ in lieu of money since 2013. Through this an Islamic economy i.e Halal economy is developing in India.
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Dharma Pracharak Sadhguru Nilesh Singbalji and East-North East India State Coordinator Mr. Shambhu Gaware while making aware of this asked Seth to take step to put a check on this in the interest of secular economy of the country.
Singhalji informed Seth that since 2013 Halal economy has become 2.11 trillion dollars and terrorism is being funded through it. Demand for ‘Halal’ products has been going on in India for some time and Hindu businessmen have been asked to do business with ‘Jamiat’ only after taking ‘Halal Certificate’ from institutions like ‘Ulema-e-Hind’, he informed.
“When FSSAI and FDA are the official organizations of the Government of India to certify the products, then what is the need for ‘Halal certification’ by a separate private body,” he questioned.
After listening to the subject, Seth assured all help from his side. He promised to send a request to the Central Government in this regard to ensure necessary legal action.
