Mumbai, March 31: The much awaited spin-off of the renowned series Game of Thrones, ‘House of the Dragon’ will be released in less than five months now.
HBO has announced that the first Game of Thrones spin-off will premiere on Sunday, August 21 on HBO and HBO Max wherever accessible, with a teaser poster showcasing a dragon egg and new glimpses at most of the key cast.
If the HBO arrangement with Disney-owned Star India is still in place, House of the Dragon will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in India on Monday, August 22.
The Game of Thrones spin-off, like all HBO shows, will air on a weekly basis. House of the Dragon should air through Sunday, October 23 / Monday, October 24 with a 10-episode initial season.
Along with the announcement of the House of the Dragon release date, HBO has released nine new images from the upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off characters.
