Chamarajanagar, June 1: An Indian Air Force (IAF) trainer plane crashed in an open field area near Chamarajanagar, Karnataka.
IAF officials claim that the Kiran trainer plane went down during a routine training sortie near Makali hamlet in Chamarajanagar district. The aircraft’s two pilots safely ejected.
“Both pilots including a lady pilot are safe,” said officials.
To determine what caused the crash, a court of inquiry has been mandated.
