Ramgarh, Dec 11: An induction session was organised at the IGNOU study center at Ramgarh College for the students of the July 2022 session. The session was presided over by Dr Sharda Prasad, Director and Principal, Ramgarh College.
The Coordinator of IGNOU Study Center, Dr Bakshi Om Prakash Sinha welcomed all the guests and students and highlighted how higher education at IGNOU is worth it.
The officials expressed the possibility of opening a Master’s degree in Political Science this year. Along with this, there are certificate courses in disaster management, environmental science and functional English run. Dr Sunil Kumar Agarwal threw light on its various aspects while promoting the subject. He later got acquainted with the information related to examination and study.
Discussing the speciality of IGNOU study centre, Dr Prasad later said that distance education is a boon which provides an opportunity to resume the missed studies. It also provides an opportunity at the international level.
Ravidas, a former student also shared his experiences and highlighted the importance of studying at IGNOU. Notably, he is currently a teacher in a government school.
