Ramgarh, June 8: The 101st camp of the Mission Pink Health (MPH) series was organized in Ramgarh on Wednesday. MPH is a very ambitious project of the Indian Medical Association. It was started in July 2018.
The camp was organised at Islamic Academy Saudagar Mohalla Ramgarh Cantt to inform about the mission to 60 adolescent girls were told about this mission.
The girls were given detailed information about anaemia, menstruation, menstrual hygiene and proper nutrition by Dr Santwana Sharan, the national secretary of IMA Mission Pink Health.
Dr Thakur Mrutyunjay Singh, Dr Nidhi Bajaj and Dr Sudhir Arya also spoke on hand hygiene, anaemia, nutrition and improvement in routine.
The girls present during the camp were given iron tablets and sanitary pads, ORS, handwash soap, biscuits, Albendazole tablets etc.
The entire team of the Islamic Academy assisted in the conduct of the programme. Amarjeet Saita and Sister Sangeeta assisted in the camp. A first aid box was also given to the academy.
The event was organized in collaboration with Dr Pankaj Banerjee, Md Salim Raza and Md Asad. Dr Santwana Sharan. MPH, WDW, and the National Vice-Chairperson of IMA were also present at the event.
