IMD forecasts dry weather in Jharkhand and dip in temp for next 72 hours

Jamshedpur, Jan 14: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather with a dip in minimum reading in the next 72 hours. The Western Disturbance as a trough in the middle tropospheric level was hovering with its axis at 5.8 Km above the mean sea level.

An induced cyclonic circulation over north Rajasthan and the neighbourhood was currently lying over northeast Rajasthan and the neighbourhood extending up to 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.

Today, mist in the morning was experienced at several places with a partly cloudy sky later in the northern parts and while mainly clear sky later in the remaining parts of the state.

Notably, Ranchi and its adjoining areas today recorded a minimum temperature of 10 and 11 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded around 12 degrees. Minimum reading hovered between 9 and 10 degrees at Bokaro, Daltonganj, Giridih and several other places.
