Jamshedpur, Feb 9: Day temperature which witnesses an upward trend will continue to rise for the next 48 hours, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre on Thursday.
Met statistics indicated that most places including Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Daltonganj, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar and several other parts of Kolhan and Santhal Pargana regions experienced a rise in day temperature during the past 24 hours.
The minimum reading also witnessed a rise of two degree Celsius in several districts during the past 24 – hours.
Met statistics show that the lowest reading rose to as high as 15 degrees Celsius in places like Ranchi and Jamshedpur during the past 24 hours.
Daltonganj, Bokaro and several other places in central Jharkhand recorded a minimum reading of around 12 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours.
Khunti was comparatively colder at nine degree Celsius.
Weatherman said no significant synoptic features prevail over Jharkhand and that clear and dry weather is expected to prevail across the state in the next three to four days.
