New Delhi, Feb 9: Australia hopes to bounce back, after a shaky start with the aid of Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. After Mohammed Siraj defeated Usman Khawaja in his first over to get India off to a fast start, Mohammed Shami finished off David Warner with a stunning catch.
Earlier, Pat Cummins, the captain of Australia, chose to bat first against India after winning the toss in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy match, which is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
India has given KS Bharat and Suryakumar Yadav their Test debuts. Todd Murphy, a right-arm off-spinner, recently made his Australian debut.
