The fifth match of IPL 2026 will see Lucknow Super Giants take on Delhi Capitals at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium. The toss is scheduled for 7:00 PM, with the match starting at 7:30 PM. Both teams are still chasing their first IPL title and will be looking to gain early momentum this season.

Head-to-Head and Recent Form

Delhi Capitals have confirmed that Ben Duckett has withdrawn from the tournament. Players like Karun Nair or Pathum Nissanka may replace him. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc is expected to miss the initial matches and could join the squad in the second week of April.

Probable Playing XIs

Delhi Capitals are likely to field a lineup led by Axar Patel, with KL Rahul as wicketkeeper, supported by players like Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, and Kuldeep Yadav.

Lucknow Super Giants are expected to rely on Rishabh Pant as captain and wicketkeeper, along with Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Mohammed Shami, and Wanindu Hasaranga.
