Mumbai, Dec 6: India registered a massive 372-run win over New Zealand on the fourth day of the second Test. With this win, India clinched the two-match series 1-0 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Monday.

Mayank Agarwal and Jayant Yadav’s performance helped India to seal the two-match series 1-0. India had set a target of 540 runs in front of NZ, but the Kiwi team could score only 167 runs and lost the match by a big margin.

New Zealand had a poor start on the fourth day and Jayant Yadav got the wicket of Rachin Ravindra (18) to give Team India the sixth success. Rachin Ravindra not only saved the Kiwi team from defeat in the first Test played in Kanpur, but also played a big role in drawing the match. Ravindra and Henry Nicholls added 33 runs in 90 balls for the sixth wicket.

The final two wickets fell in quick succession and in the end, New Zealand was bowled out for 167, handing the hosts a 372-run win.
