New Delhi, Jan 15: Virat Kohli scored his 46th ODI hundred on Sunday and took India past the 300-run mark in the match in Trivandrum. Kohli reached to 99 with a four after which he reached his century with a single.
Earlier in the day, after hitting his second ODI century off 89 balls, Shubman Gill left the game.
India’s captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. Hardik Pandya and Umran Malik were rested by the hosts, and Washington Sundar and Suryakumar Yadav were brought in to play. Additionally, this marks Virat Kohli’s 50th ODI match against Sri Lanka. After losing the first two games, Sri Lanka would like to restore some of its honour.
