India administers over 95 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine

New Delhi, Oct.11: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced on Monday that India’s Covid-19 vaccine coverage has reached 95 crores, with 46,57,679 doses administered in the previous 25 hours.

India has administered 95,19,84,373 vaccines thus far, according to provisional statistics released by the government at 7 a.m. today. This was accomplished after 92,57,689 sessions.

In the latest 24 hours, the country reported 18,132 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest number in 215 days.

The country’s active caseload is at 2,27,347. In the previous 24 hours, 193 deaths were reported in India. The country’s death toll presently stands at 4,50,589.

The recovery rate in the country is now at 98.00 percent, the best since March 2020.
