New Delhi, Jan 26: India has seen 11,499 new instances of the novel coronavirus, with 255 deaths as a result of the infection in the last 24 hours. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday (February 26), the country experienced a total of 23,598 discharges in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall recovery rate to roughly 98.52 percent and total recoveries to 4,22,70,482.
According to union health ministry data released today, the overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has decreased to 1,21,881 (0.28 percent).
The country’s total death toll presently stands at 5,13,481. The first death from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.
Today’s daily positivity rate is 1.01 percent.
