New Delhi, Oct 23: In the last 24 hours, India has logged 16,326 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the overall caseload to 3,41,59,562. 666 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Kerala continues to lead with 9,361 cases, followed by Maharashtra (1,632 cases), Tamil Nadu (1,152 cases), West Bengal (846 cases), and Mizoram (745 cases).
These five states account for 84.14% of all new cases, with Kerala accounting for 57.34% of all new cases.
In the last 24 hours, 17,677 patients have recovered, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 3,35,32,126 across the country. The total number of active cases is now 1,73,728.
a total of 13,64,681 samples were evaluated in the alst 24 hours.
A total of 68,48,417 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours, which brings the total tally of doses administered to 1,01,30,28,411.
