New Delhi, Nov.11: Coronavirus India: In the previous 24 hours, India has recorded 13,091 new COVID-19 cases, up 14% from yesterday. For 34 days in a row, the daily increase in new coronavirus infections has been below 20,000.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said on Thursday that over 11.89 lakh COVID-19 tests were performed in India in the last 24 hours.
The active caseload in the country is currently at 1,38,556, the lowest level in 266 days.
India’s recovery rate is currently at 98.25 percent, the highest since March 2020.
In the previous 24 hours, at least 13,878 people have recovered. There have been 3,38,00,925 persons who have recovered.
The number of coronavirus patients in Arunachal Pradesh increased to 55,202 on Thursday after five new cases were reported. There are currently 47 active cases in the north-eastern state, with 54,875 persons having recovered.
The COVID-19 virus was recently detected in a pet dog in the United Kingdom. The virus was verified on November 3 by testing at the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) laboratory in Weybridge, according to the UK’s Chief Veterinary Officer. The dog is doing well at home now.
For the past 48 days, the weekly positivity rate of 1.18 percent has been less than 2%.
For the last 38 days, the daily positivity rate of 1.10 percent has been less than 2%.
In the previous 24 hours, 340 individuals have died from Covid. Vaccinations totalled 110.23 crore throughout the country this time period.
