New Delhi, July 30: A total of 20,408 new Covid-19 instances were reported in India in the previous 24 hours.
Currently, 4,40,00,138 cases have been reported overall in the country, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
54 more fatalities were recorded throughout the nation during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,26,312.
Active cases have decreased by 604 over the previous 24 hours. According to the data, there were 1,43,384 active cases in the country.
With 2,130 instances, Karnataka leads the top five states with the most reported cases, followed by Maharashtra (1,997), Tamil Nadu (1,624), Kerala (1,609), and West Bengal (1,284).
With Maharashtra alone accounting for 10.44% of the new cases, these five states account for 42.36 percent of all new cases.
In the past 24 hours, 20,958 patients have recovered, bringing the national total of recoveries to 4,33,30,442. The recovery rate in India was 98.48%.
