New Delhi, Feb 17: India has seen 30,757 new instances of the novel coronavirus, with 541 deaths as a result of the infection in the last 24 hours.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday (February 17), the country experienced 67,538 discharges in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 98.03 percent and total recoveries to 4,19,10,984.
The overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has decreased to 3,32,918.
The country’s total death toll presently stands at 5,10,413. The first death from the Covid was recorded in India in March 2020.
Today’s daily positivity rate is 2.61 percent.
75,55,32,460 samples were tested for Covid-19 up till February 16, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). On February 16, 11,79,705 of these samples were examined.
