New Delhi, Nov 26: India reported 10,549 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.
With this, the active cases stand at 1,10,133. The active caseload now accounts for less than 1% of total cases, the active cases comprise 0.32 % of the total infections, the lowest since March 2020.
As many as 9,868 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. With this, the recovery tally now has gone up to 3,39,77,830. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.33 %.
Meanwhile, the death toll climbed to 4,67,468 with 488 fresh fatalities, including1,40,857 from Maharashtra, 38,737 from Kerala, 38,187 from Karnataka, 36,432 from Tamil Nadu, 25,095 from Delhi, 22,909 from Uttar Pradesh and 19,430 from West Bengal, according to the data updated at 8 am by the ministry.
A total of 63.71 crore tests conducted so far in the country. In addition to this, 120.27 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
