New Delhi, Nov 7: India reported 10,853 new COVID-19 cases and 526 deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday.
With this, the total death toll reached 4,60,791. The country’s active caseload stands at 1,44,845 which is lowest in the last 260 days.
According to the ministry, 12,432 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours. with this the total recoveries in the country have been increased to 3,37,49,900. At present, the recovery rate is at 98.23% which is the highest since March 2020.
Meanwhile, 1,08,21,66,365 doses of COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in the country so far. In addition to this, 61,48,85,747 samples have been tested up to November 6 for COVID-19. Of these 9,19,996 samples were tested on Saturday, informed the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
