New Delhi, Dec 29: The BrahMos Air Launched missile, which can reach targets at a distance of about 400 kilometres, was successfully fired by the Indian Air Force on Wednesday.

Defence officials claim that the missile, which was fired from a Su-30 fighter jet, struck the target ship in the middle. The air launched missile’s anti-ship variant was being tested at this time.

After being launched from a Su-30 fighter aircraft, the missile hit the target ship in the center. It was a test of the anti-ship version of the air-launched version of the missile: Defence officials

It was the first time a Su-30MKI aircraft launched a BrahMos missile with an increased range. This gives the IAF the capacity to launch precise strikes from Su-30MKI aircraft at very long ranges against land or marine targets.

The IAF, Indian Navy, DRDO, BAPL, and HAL’s tireless and collaborative efforts have demonstrated the country’s capacity to accomplish this achievement. The Su-30MKI aircraft’s superior performance and the missile’s extended range capability provide the IAF a strategic advantage and enable it to control future war zones.
