Jamhedpur/Saraikela : Archers from India left for Tokyo to participate in the Olympics. Archery Association of India President and Union Minister Arjun Munda bid farewell to the archers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi late on Saturday night. Also best wishes for better performance in Tokyo Olympics.
Arjun Munda has expressed hope that Indian archers will create history in Tokyo Olympics. He said that 130 crore people of the country are with the players, PM Modi himself has encouraged them. All the players are full of enthusiasm and this time in the Olympics, these players will create history by performing very well. The Indian Archery team consists of Tarundeep Roy, Atanu Das, Praveen Jadhav (Team Event) and Deepika Kumari (Singles). All the archers have reached Tokyo. It is known that the archer Deepika Kumari read the first lesson of archery at Damadiri ground located in Kharsawan of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. On the other hand, Seraikela-Kharsawan District Archery Association President Mira Munda, Secretary Sumant Mohanty, Vice President Mangal Singh Soy, Uday Singhdev, Uttam Mishra, Deepika’s initial coach BS Rao, Himanshu Mohanty etc. also outperformed other archers including Archer Deepika Kumari Best wishes for Olympics.
