Ranchi, Oct 7: Indian and South African cricket team reached Jharkhand capital to play their second one-day international match at JSCA stadium in Dhurwa.
It was around 3pm when the players landed at Birsa Munda Airport where former vice president of JSCA Ajay Nath Shahdeo was present to welcome them with other members.
Landing at airport, the players proceeded to a city hotel where their accommodation arrangement has been made.
Proper security arrangement was done for the safety of players. Police jawan were deputed to escort their buses. As the players were moving towards the hotel from airport people in large numbers were standing along both sides of the road connecting the airport and the hotel to have a glimpse of the players.
The players will go for practice on Saturday and on Sunday they will play the match. Tickets were sold today.
