Hazaribag, June.3: A girl who topped in her block this year in the intermediate examination and ranked 7th in the district today died of measles.
19-year-old Sita Kumari, a resident of Khargu village under Chalkusha block, died of measles in a Ranchi hospital. Her father Dularchand Pandit said Sita was a student of Utkramit plus two school and made everyone proud by securing 440 marks in the inter examination getting first position in the entire block and seventh in the district.
Due to her success, there was an atmosphere of happiness in the whole area. But Sita was suffering from measles at that time, which was being treated by the doctors in Koderma Sadar Hospital. But later the doctors referred her to RIMS Ranchi for better treatment. She was taken to a private hospital in Ranchi for better treatment. She was referred to RIMS from there but died on the way.
Sita’s marriage took place last month on 2 May 2023 in village Karma Tand of Markachcho police station area of ??Koderma district. Unfortunately, her elder brother also died suddenly about 4 months before her marriage. Her father said Sita got first position in the block and seventh position in the district in Inter examinatiom. The whole village is shocked by this incident and parents are in a state of shock. Zila parishad member Savita Singh and Mukhiya Lalita Devi met her parents and expressed condolences.
