Daltonganj, Feb 22: The word on the street is that the three new medical colleges in Jharkhand will be run in cooperation. Although, there is no official declaration yet.
According to reports, the state government has decided to administer its three new medical colleges, one each in Hazaribagh, Dumka and Palamu, under PPP (public-private partnership) mode.
According to well-placed sources, a private medical college called Hi-Tech medical college situated in Bhubaneswar, Orissa has been hired to administer the three new medical colleges in Jharkhand.
Hi-Tech medical college has its branch in Rourkela also.

And again today (Tuesday, February 22) the same team visited the new medical college in Daltonganj, Palamu.

According to insiders, this team’s arrival is wrapped up in secrecy and seclusion. Sources said the visiting team has promised to come again soon thereby giving force to the theory of the PPP mode.
Jharkhand’s Additional Chief Secretary (health) Arun Kumar Singh when contacted today, replied, “If there is any team travelling around the three new medical colleges in Jharkhand, as you told, let it visit.”
