New Delhi, March 29: The visit of Israel Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to India has been postponed, said Muhamed Heib, Spokesperson of Israel Embassy in India on Tuesday.
Earlier, he was scheduled to visit India from April 3 to April 5. Bennett announced his first official travel to India earlier this month, at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s request. Bennett was scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Modi and other senior government officials, as well as visit the country’s Jewish community, during his visit.
Notably, Bennett tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday evening, and he has continued to work from home while in isolation.
