New Delhi, Nov 4: Isudan Gadhvi is to be the Aam Aadmi Party’s Chief Minister face for Gujarat, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal announced on Friday.
Notably, elections to the 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be held in two phases next month on December 1 and 5. The counting of votes will be done on December 8.
In a poll conducted by the AAP to determine who should represent Gujarat’s chief minister, former journalist and TV host Isudan Gadhvi received 73% of the votes. After a similar poll in Punjab, the party chose Bhagwant Singh Mann as its candidate for chief minister.
In June of last year, Isudan Gadhvi joined the AAP.
