Ranchi, April 26: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha today declared to remain in power till the continuation of democracy in Jharkhand.
The declaration was made by JMM general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya while giving clarification in the favour of the Jharkhand chief minister and his party colleague Hemant Soren on the allegation of corruption levelled by the former chief minister of Jharkhand.
“Jab Tak Jamhuriyat Jinda Hai Tab Tak Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Ka Shashan Kayam Rahega,” JMM general secretary Bhattacharya roared in a press conference before saying that the people of Jharkhand knows to give a befitting reply to the person targeting Soren family.
Former CM Das had alleged Soren of procuring mining lease in his personal name and the names of press advisor Abhisekh Srivastava alias Pintu and his wife Kalpana Soren.
On which Bhattacharya said there was nothing wrong with it. Regarding Srivastava’s land lease he said it was procured in 2016 when Das was looking mining department.
On Soren’s mining lease he said it was with Soren since 2008 and now has been surrendered. On Soren’s business in mining, he said information regarding this was already given to the Election Commission of India at the time of filing of nomination in 2009, 2014 and 2019. Apart from this regarding the mining business of Soren, he said that he had never excavated a single piece of stone from the mines.
Regarding Kalpana Soren’s land, he said it was procured by fulfilling all legal formalities.
