Ranchi, June 30: The Jharkhand Academic Council on Thursday released the results for the Intermediate examinations of Commerce and Arts streams conducted earlier this year. Around 92 percent of students cleared the exam in Commerce, while 97 percent cleared the exams in the Arts stream.
Nikky Kumari of DVC +2 High School, Chandrapura was declared topper in Commerce with a score of 478. Shreya Pandey of the V K Majdoor Inter College Chas scored 477 and was declared the second topper, while Nushrat Jahan of the Ursuline Inter College Ranchi bagged the third position with 475 marks.
Meanwhile, Mansi Saha of the Kisan Mazdoor Inter College, Hazaribagh was declared topper in the Arts stream with 474 marks. The second position was bagged by Rohit Kachchap of St Xavier’s College with 467 marks, and the third position was given to Anchal Kumari of +2 High School, Barkagaon.
As per the results, girls cover the top 12 positions of the results in Commerce, while six out of the top seven positions in Arts results have girls.
All the students can check their results at the official website jac.nic.in or jharresults.nic.in, or jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Students can also check the JAC Class 10 board exam result 2022 via SMS. The results will be sent as an SMS on the same mobile number used for registration.
This year the board examination was conducted in an offline centre-based mode by following all the Covid guidelines issued by the Government of India. Students and teachers were strictly directed to wear and carry extra marks with them and carry their hand sanitiser.
Notably, the JAC class 10 board examinations were conducted from March 24 to April 20, 2022. The board exams were divided into two shifts – the first shift was held from 9:30 am till 12:45 pm and the second shift began from 1:45 pm and continued till 5 pm. Meanwhile, the results of Intermediate Commerce and Arts results are yet to be published.
Notably, the Council had earlier released the results of Matriculation and Intermediate Science on June 21.
