New Delhi, Sept 14: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez will appear before the Delhi Police today. She has been identified as an accused in the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
This is the actor’s third summons from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police. Two summonses for questioning were previously delivered by the Delhi police on August 29 and September 12. Jacqueline will be questioned by Delhi Police about her interactions with Sukesh Chandra Shekhar and the gifts she received from him.
The actor will be questioned regarding the quantity of times she has spoken on the phone and in person with Sukesh. Pinky Irani, who assisted Sukesh in getting in touch with Jacqueline, has also been called before the EOW.
A few days ago in this case, ateam of Delhi police questioned Bollywood actress Noora Fatehi for around six hours.
