Jamshedpur, Oct 8: Chandni Satyarthi, 22-year-old daughter of Dharmendra Satyarthi, who lives near United Company located near Golpahari Temple under Parsudih police station of Jamshedpur, committed suicide by hanging herself.
The incident is said to have taken place on Saturday afternoon. After the incident, she was taken to Sadar Hospital where after investigation she was declared dead.
On Sunday, the police conducted the post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family members.
In this regard, a case of unnatural death has been registered on the statement of father Dharmendra Satyarthi.
Chandni was studying BA. The father told the police that she had remained silent for the past one month and did not talk to anyone. On Saturday she went to her room and hanged herself.
